Is Real Estate Coaching for you?

One of the greatest advantages of being a real estate investor and coach is that I get to travel around the country and speak to other real estate investors. Today I had the opportunity to share some information at a Real Estate Insiders Summit about real estate coaching with 300 investors in Denver, CO.

The value of having a real estate coach pays off BIG TIME in the long run. Think about it… In any profession you need to invest in education. Real estate investing is no different. If you want to become a doctor or dentist, you have to invest in your education. You don’t just go out and start operating on people without the proper knowledge of how to do it the RIGHT way. Real Estate Investor Laws in Washington State to be aware of

Flipping houses in Washington State can be a lucrative business.  But there are a few Laws that you need to be aware of and abide by.

SBH 1843 / RCW 18.27

Substitute House Bill 1843, and the resulting law (RCW 18.27) states that if a person or entity purchases a property and intends to rehab it and sell it for a profit, then that person or entity MUST be licensed and bonded as a general contractor.  If you or your entity (LLC, corporation, etc) intends to resell a particular property within 12 months, and if you spend more than $500 on rehabbing the property you, or your entity will need to be licensed and bonded.  Read the rest of this entry
